This Wednesday, Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg reported the social media site’s sales in the fourth quarter have risen to $5.84 billion, which marks a 52% rise in sales since last year. This exceptional growth is due, mostly, to the site’s success in selling mobile advertising, which they have only just begun implementing over the last year. The move to mobile advertising was made in response to the growing number of individuals using Facebook-owned messaging apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.
