TV & Cable News Have Much to Fear from Mobile Apps

According to a New York Times article by Farhad Manjoo, CNN had 24/7 coverage of the Gulf War back in 1991, but last week’s shootings showed up first on Facebook Live. This is a big concern for the TV networks, as today’s Millennials aren’t familiar with The Six O’clock or 11 O’Clock News. This according to Andrew Heyward, a former president of CBS News who is now a visiting researcher at MIT Media Lab.
