Personal Computer Sales at All-Time Low

Personal computer sales hit a record low last year, the lowest since 2007, which was the year the iPhone was introduced. The PC industry felt the burn not only through the steady growth of mobile devices, but also from the economic slowdown in China, and a strong U.S. dollar which has made personal computers more costly in Europe. In an article found in The Wall Street Journal titled PC Sales Decline To Historic Low Levels, Robert McMillan dives into the research for us to give us a better understanding of the moving parts that are responsible for this record low.

The author, Bob Ottaway, is President and Founder of Ottaway Digital.  Established in 1999, it has been a pioneer in SEO, digital advertising & social media since 2006.
